January ICCF Meeting Notes.

On January 8th we had a good turnout with 17 in attendence.  We will be hosting an Inventor's Fair at the Orange County Library, Auguts 13th.  We will be adding a page to this site as we have more information.  Bob Jasper was not able to give his presentation on crowd funding due to illness.  John Smith - the inventor of Storm Stoppers , however, gave a great presentation on why not to patent your invention.  He has written the book on this subject and you can get it at

November Meeting Highlights

On Nov. 6th we had a meeting in our usual place.  We had 17 in attendence including 5 new members.  The highlight of the meeting was Show and Tell by 3 members.

Sydney Birr presented her SydSpeak, a talking tablet used to assist communication challenged people.  She is in full production and her sales are starting to ramp up.  She is a great example of where you can go if you stick with it.

June Meeting Summary

At our June 5th, 2010 meeting we had a big turnout with 24 attending.  Dr. Dave Flinchbaugh introduced us to TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) a website with a bunch of helpful marketing information, and David Rose and his 10 Rules for Pitching to Venture Capitalists.  It is a great video on how to present your project to Venture Capitalists.
