Daymond John Academy Review - Dec. 2013

It has been brought to our attention that there is a website called InventingDaily.com which is an outlet to market your developed invention.  The basics are a $35 monthly fee and 5% of your sales. There are rumors afoot of an expo at the Tampa Convention Center April 9-10 2011.  Invnetor booths are $285.  The expected attendence is about 6000.  It appears to be a real event but is in planning stages now.  Today I talked to the organizer who assured me this will be a good show which combines Inventors, Investors, and franchises.  This may just be the show to attend.  Their website is expected to be up in about a week.  I will keep you posted.  In the mean time here is their brochure....

Tampa Bay Inventor's Fair Sept. 4th

We have been notified the Tampa Bay Inventors Council will be hosting an inventors fair at the same time as our next meeting.  Last year the booth space was free.  It is well worth it to show your inventions here as long as they are ready to be seen publically.  It is a great way to polish your presentation and get some market studying done.  There will be Corvette enthusists galore since there will be a Corvette show at the same time.  Following is a copy of the invitation sent to us.

June Meeting Summary

At our June 5th, 2010 meeting we had a big turnout with 24 attending.  Dr. Dave Flinchbaugh introduced us to TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) a website with a bunch of helpful marketing information, and David Rose and his 10 Rules for Pitching to Venture Capitalists.  It is a great video on how to present your project to Venture Capitalists.
