Daymond John Academy Review - Dec. 2013

I just finished the $1500 (for 2 people) 3 day Daymond John Academy class.  They have a first day free policy after you have paid the fee.  That is if you are not satisfied at the end of the first day you can get a complete refund.  I stayed.  I feel it was a worthwhile experience.  They pretty much did what they said they would.  They outlined the things you would need to do to create a successful, scaleable, sustainable business.  If someone really wanted to dive into the big corporat...

Lawsuit Says "First to File" is Unconstitutional

Our member, Mark Stadnyk, is in the process of sueing the US government regarding the constitutionality of the America Invents Act and its "First to File" clause.

The Constitution states, "To promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts, by securing for limited Times to Authors and Inventors the exclusive Right to their respective Writings and Discoveries."  Notice it states the "Inventors" not the first one to file some paperwork.

I believe that your email regarding the Edison Nation project is missing an important piece of information. They are not just seeking a "licensing agreement" with inventors. If you read the fine print you will discover that by submitting a product idea you are completely giving up the rights to your invention (Exhibit A, section 1A).
